This Cookie Policy explains how Finsight Alpha (“we”) uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
We use cookies only for essential functionality and do not use them to track you across apps or websites.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a site. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. We use them only where needed to run the service securely and keep you signed in.
In our native mobile apps, traditional browser cookies may be limited. Equivalent local storage/session mechanisms and secure tokens may be used to keep you signed in and apply preferences.
2. How we use cookies
2.1 Essential cookies and similar storage
These are required for the Services to work. They include, for example:
- Session / authentication: to keep you logged in and secure your account. Our session cookie name may be similar to
fsa.sid(exact name can vary by environment). - Security: to protect against fraud and abuse.
- Cookie notice: to remember that you have seen our essential cookie information (stored in
localStorageas well as any technical storage we use for that purpose).
We do not use cookies for cross app tracking, cross website tracking, or advertising purposes.
Where UK/EU ePrivacy rules apply, these uses are strictly necessary to provide a service you request.
3. Third parties
When you use checkout or subscriptions, our payment processor may use cookies or similar technologies under its own terms. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies through our cookie notice.
4. Managing storage on your device
You can clear site data in your browser settings. Blocking or clearing strictly necessary cookies may break sign-in or core features.
